Mark 10:45 says “even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…”  We believe the ultimate purpose of our lives here on earth is to SERVE God by serving others.  We strive to humbly serve each other in the church, our local community, and even people at the far corners of the globe.  The following are just some of the ways that we engage in serving our community and our world

We believe that serving God begins right where God has placed you.  For us, that is the Lazybrook and surrounding communities of Northwest Houston.  We do many things to help edify our community, and to amplify the presence of the Gospel where we live, work, and play.  Below is a list of just some of the ways in which we engage our immediate community on a regular basis.

Fall Festival, Easter Extravaganza, Bus Ministry for children, Food Pantry, Good News Club at Sinclair Elementary, Kids Hope student tutoring at Sinclair Elementary, Weekly Services at Brookdale Senior Care Center, Friends of Jaycee Park, Community Prayer Walks, and much more!  Our church also serves as a public voting location and a meeting place for many of our community associations.

We strive to be a Great Commission driven church, doing everything we can to spread the gospel wherever we go.  We take several domestic and international mission trips each year.  Below is a list of just some of the trips we have taken recently.  We have ongoing, committed, annual mission trips to Matamoros, Mexico as well as Nepal/Bangladesh.

Domestic: Rainsville, Alabama; Providence, Rhode Island; San Angelo, Texas

International: Matamoros, Mexico; Nepal; Bangladesh; China
