There is so much in life that can rob you of your joy. Relationship strife, health issues, money/job problems, and death of someone close are just a few things that strip you of your joy. We stress and worry over these things and before we know it we are depressed and without joy. This past Sunday, Pastor John reminded us that God is our eternal source of joy. Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Our hope for joy is found in God alone, and the Holy Spirit grants us the power to achieve it. Praise God for that today. It is also the beginning of the Easter season and Lazybrook has several opportunities to get involved. This Sunday, March 29th, is the Easter choir musical The Lion Became a Lamb at 10:45a and the annual Easter production of The Shadow of Easter at 6:00p. Come view both and find joy with your church family.
