Dr. John Neesley, Pastor  Hi, my name is John Neesley, the pastor at Lazybrook Baptist Church where I have served since 1996. I hold a B.A. from LSU, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary & a Ph D from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  I am excited to pastor a church that is founded on believing prayer and passionate about missions.  I have also been blessed to teach New Testament in seminary settings and for Houston Baptist University since 2004. Bobbye and I have been married since 1982 & we have 2 children, Natalie (our Aggie Ed Major) and Andrew (our HS guitarist).  I enjoy eating seafood, jogging & rooting for the Astros, Rockets & Texans. johnn@lazybrookbaptistchurch.org

Chris Couch, Minister of Music and Sr. Adults My name is Chris Couch.  I have been Music Minister at Lazybrook Baptist Church since 1999.  I also work with our Senior Adults and teach a Sunday School class.  I am originally from Oklahoma where I attended Central State University .  My wife, Vanessa, is the church pianist and we have been married since 1985.  We have 2 children, Marissa and Taylor.  I enjoy playing golf and rooting for the Astros and Sooners. chrisc@lazybrookbaptistchurch.org

Spencer Modawell, Interim Student Pastor Hello!  My name is Spencer Modawell.  I am the interim Student Pastor at Lazybrook Baptist Church.  I also play cello with the praise band and sing with the choir during Sunday morning worship.  On February 23, 2008, I married my best friend Abigail.  In August 2008, we moved from Dallas to Houston.  I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Church Music from Houston Baptist University.  I am a huge baseball fan and enjoy rooting for the Astros (when the Rangers aren't in town). spencerm@lazybrookbaptistchurch.org

Becky Jackson, Minister of Children Becky joined the Lazybrook Baptist staff as the Children's Minister December 2009. She graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College, and holds a degree in Christian elementary education. Becky was a single missionary serving in Brazil for 13 years teaching in missionary schools and institutes, so she has a passion for international missions also.  She is married to Tim and has one son: Marshall along with two adult step-daughters, Jennifer and Dawn. beckyj@lazybrookbaptistchurch.org
